Homecare Workers Kick-Off Commitment to Care Campaign and Testify Before the Board of Supervisors.
On March 7, 2006, CUHW unveiled at a press conference at the Shasta County Board of Supervisors the Commitment to Care Campaign - a campaign designed to build public and political support in our efforts to protect seniors, people with disabilities and the workers who care for them. President Freeman and homecare workers testified before the Board of Supervisors and spoke with media regarding CUHW's efforts to protect the homecare program.
