Homecare Workers Kick-Off Commitment to Care Campaign with Television Ad to Raise Awareness of Butte County Supervisors' 56% Pay Raise
On March 6, 2006, CUHW unveiled at a press conference a new television ad designed to raise awareness of the Butte County Board of Supervisors' 56% pay increase. The television ads played a significant role in the Commitment to Care Campaign - a campaign designed to build public and political support in our efforts to protect seniors, people with disabilities and the workers who care for them. One commitment of the campaign is to continue to shed light on any questionable actions by elected officials that may jeopardize the homecare program.
