I. In Attendance:

II. Mark Greanleaf, President of the Central Labor Council of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties gave a presentation of what it is like to be a part of a union.
III. Old Business
A. Report on Contract Ratification and Fair Share Results given by Kathy Sobilo, Antoinette Skiles and Shane Brinton. We won our contract, the wage increase that was approved by a count of 90%. The Fair Share Agency shop was approved with the count at about 65%. If anyone is interested in actual counts, see Shane Brinton.
B. Report on Disability Capitol Action Day given by, Antoinette Skiles she said it was fun, Katie Coventry said it was really good and a lot of information was there, good networking time.
C. Consider Changing the Meeting Day and/or Time: John Inman suggested changing the meeting to Saturday mid-morning. A survey was passed out and each person was asked to pick an evening that would work for them. The surveys were collected and processed by Vivian Deniston, Kathy Sobilo and Shane Brinton, and decided that the majority picked Tuesday evening. This information will be brought back to the next meeting on July 12th and will be discussed.
D. Shane passed out Thank you cards to sign, for the members of the community that helped with our campaign.
III. New Business
A. Report on Women of Labor Conference and Capitol Rally/Lobbying Activities: Anita Hart shared what she was interested in a program called Shoes that fit. Anita wants to take on Glen Paul School as our school to buy shoes for. More information to follow. Kathy Sobilo reported on Lobbing at the Capitol on Different Assembly Bills, such as AB880, Close the Walmart Loophole.
B. Report on Disabilities Expo: Antoinette Skiles shared that she found some legal information for herself and CPR Classes are available. Patrick Cross shared that he reconnected with some people and enjoyed sitting at the table.
C. Discussion of Needs Assessments and Client Hours by John Inman and Katie Coventry.
