President
Name: Gail Ennis
County: Sutter
Provider Since: 1999
I have had the profound privilege of being your Statewide President since 2009 and I look forward to serving you in my second term. What I envisioned years ago for our local has occurred.
We now have a main office in Sacramento, 4 Hub offices and 6 Satellite offices equipped to handle the needs of our members. Chapters are run by members that understand their roles in a membership-driven local.
My resolution remains the same: bring homecare workers out of the darkness and into the light. I am ever your President, 100% dedicated to doing whatever it takes to secure the best possible future for you and your family.
In Solidarity,
Gail Ennis – CUHW Statewide President
Vice President
Name: Linda Zavala
County: Imperial
Provider Since: 1995
I’m your Vice President and I’m happy to serve you! I’m married and have been blessed with four wonderful children. In 1995 my oldest daughter was born with Down Syndrome. After discovering the IHSS program, I was able to care for her at home and begin my life as an advocate for In-Home Caregivers.
With new changes to the IHSS program we need to be united as a union. As your first Vice President I will assist the President in implementing local political programs and coalition duties. I will serve as a delegate to AFSCME and SEIU Conventions. I will advocate for the rights of our members. I understand the daily struggle of our members and that is why I am so privileged to serve you as your first Vice President.
In Solidarity,
Linda Zavala – CUHW Statewide Vice President
Secretary-Treasurer

I have been a dedicated member of the union and an active participant in all aspects of the union since 2007. I have served as Secretary of our union and have provided leadership on a variety of significant statewide committees.
I will keep a constant accounting of revenues and expenditures of our union. I have a strong commitment to build collaborative relationships within stakeholder coalitions. I want to bring more members into each County chapter, to build stronger organizations that can best assist our members meet their economic, health and professional-educational needs.
In Solidarity,
Andre Booker – CUHW Statewide Secretary-Treasurer
Second Vice President
Name: Connie Graham
County: Butte
Provided Since: 2001
As your Statewide 2nd Vice President I will strive to educate our members and our communities. Just seeing our recipients smile when we walk in the door can make the difficult work we do feel rewarding. Helping keep our clients in their homes has become one of my missions.
During my time as a chapter chair for both UDW and CUHW I gained experience as well as understanding of what matters to the homecare community. I look forward to sharing what I have learned and advocating for those in need.
In Solidarity,
Connie Graham - CUHW Statewide Second Vice President
